1. Introduction
By using the API provided by PRX LLC ("Platform"), you agree to the following terms and conditions.
2. Data Usage
No Scraping or Data Collection:
You are prohibited from scraping or collecting data from the Platform through any means. The API provides access to data in a controlled manner.
No Data Selling or Sharing:
You may not sell, lease, or share any data accessed through the API with third parties. This data is provided for your use only.
No Commercial Use:
Data accessed through the API cannot be used for commercial purposes without prior approval. This includes use in any product or service that is sold, leased, or otherwise provided for a fee.
No Use for AI/LLM Training:
Data accessed through the API cannot be used to train artificial intelligence or large language models. This includes machine learning, algorithm training, or model development.
No Use for Political Insight:
Data accessed through the API cannot be used for any activity aimed at deriving political insights.
3. Rate Limiting
The following rate limits apply:
Standard Rate Limit: 1 request per second.
Burst Rate Limit: 600 requests per 10 minutes.
Exceeding these limits will result in temporary or permanent suspension of API access.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
User Data Deletion:
If a user deletes their data on the Platform, you must delete any retained data corresponding to that user immediately.
5. Identification and Compliance
Scraper Identification:
If you are operating a scraper, you must identify yourself as such. Any attempt to evade detection or blocking measures will be considered a breach of these terms.
Legal and Terms of Service Compliance:
You must not use the API to engage in activities that violate the Platform's terms of service or any applicable laws. Such activities will result in termination of API access and may result in legal action.
6. Enforcement and Penalties
Failure to comply with these terms may result in:
Immediate suspension or termination of API access.
Legal action to recover damages or enforce these terms.
7. Changes to Terms
The Platform reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the API after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
